Jean-Yves Duclos, Professor of Economics at Université Laval, will be the Vice President of this new group. The population of Quebec and Canada will experience over the next few years significant demographic changes. The aims of this group will be, among other things, to improve the state of knowledge on the impact of these changes on behavior, standards of living, private wealth, the health of the population and the public finances of the Quebec and Canadian governments. The group will also provide our partners and the entire scientific community with analytical tools at the cutting edge of research on these issues.
