CIRANO is pleased to announce the launch of the Fiscal Policy Challenge.

This competition aims to find innovative and rigorous solutions to current public policy issues. Theme of the 2020-2021 edition: The Economic Lessons of the Pandemic.

The contest is open to Bachelor degree students (cumulating 30 credits or more) and to Master's degree students in economics or other related fields (finance, taxation, political science).

For the winners: $3,000 in prizes, as well as the opportunity to present your thoughts to a team of government officials from the Ministère des Finances du Québec and the possibility to complete a paid internship at the Ministère des Finances du Québec.

Closing date for registration and submission of the essay: March 29, 2021
