Lyne Sauvageau appointed President of the Association francophone pour le savoir (ACFAS)

Lyne Sauvageau, Vice-President of Academics and Research at the Université du Québec and Member of CIRANO’s Board of Directors, was appointed President of ACFAS for a two-year term.

 

Holder of a Ph.D. in Public Health at the Université de Montréall and a Master’s Degree in Political Science from Université Laval, Lyne Sauvageau is Vice-President at the Department of Education and Research at Université du Québec since November 2011. As such, she supports the development of training and research activities for institutions that are part of the Université du Québec by encouraging collaboration and concertation, by combining means when required and by spreading an expertise for the benefit of each individual.

 

She is currently the President of the Alliance of Canadian Comprehensive Research Universities (ACCRU) and holds a seat at the Scientific Committee of ÉRUDIT. From 2011 to 2017, Lyne Sauvageau was also an Administration Councellor at Cégep Beauce-Appalaches. Previously, Lyne Sauvageau strived for the Fonds québécois de la recherche sur la société et la culture between 2002 and 2009, as the Secretary General and later as the Programs Vice-President.
