Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin member of the Quebec delegation on sustainable finance during the climate week

Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, professor at Polytechnique Montréal, CIRANO  CEO and Fellow was a member of the Quebec delegation in sustainable finance at the Climate Week held in Paris from October 24 to 28, 2022. 

Organized by Finance Montreal and Montreal International, Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin (Polytechnique Montreal and CIRANO) and several colleagues from Concordia, HEC Montreal and UQAM, represented Quebec universities and research centers to highlight the importance of training, research projects and scientific advice in sustainable finance, addressing the topics of climate change, ecological transition, ESG criteria, data science, AI and innovation in Quebec.

Accompanied by Jacques Desforges, CEO of Finance Montreal, Eric Stevenson, Assistant Deputy Minister of the Quebec Ministry of Finance (MFQ) and other actors of the ecosystem, the members of the delegation were able to exchange with academic, institutional and private actors in sustainable finance. The mission ended with the Climate Finance Day - Finance for Tomorrow. 

The delegation was received by the Honourable Stéphane Dion, Ambassador of Canada to France and by Mrs. Michèle Boisvert, Delegate General of Quebec in Paris.
