Appointment of Jean-Philippe Meloche as Director of the School of Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture

Congratulation to Jean-Philippe Meloche who becomes Director of the School of Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture at the Université de Montréal!

 

Holder of a Ph.D. in geography from the Université de Montréal, he is specialized in urban economics and local and regional economic development. He is particularly interested in local public finance, urban economics, mobility, real estate development and urban infrastructure. His most recent research focuses on local public finance in Quebec and on urban transportation.

CIRANO Researcher and Fellow since 2010, Jean-Philippe Meloche is Principal Investigator of the Territories CIRANO theme. He is an associate professor at the School of Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture of the Université de Montréal and also a researcher at the Ivanhoe Cambridge Observatory of Urban and Real Estate Development, a member of the Réseau Villes Régions Monde (VRM) and a member of the Observatoire de la mobilité durable.
