Two researchers invited to CIRANO this summer

From June 1 to August 31, 2022, two researchers will be invited to CIRANO!

 

Violeta Ruiz Almendral : Professor of Financial and Tax Law at the University Carlos III of Madrid (accredited for the function of University Professor -ANECA).President of the Arbitration Council of the Economic Agreement of the Basque Country (since 2021).Her main areas of research are International Taxation, Harmonization of Direct Taxation in the EU and the principle of non-discrimination, Financing of Autonomous Communities and Taxation of Autonomous Communities, Fraud of Tax Legislation, Fiscal Stability and Public Expenditure, Economic Constitution, Fundamental Rights, and Fiscal Procedures.

 

David Ramos Muñoz : Associate Professor of Commercial Law at the University Carlos III of Madrid. Co-Director of the Master in International Legal Practice. He works on the role of climate change and sustainability, as well as digitization in changing the face of finance, from a legal and institutional perspective, involving central banks, capital markets and financial authorities. He also works on the interaction between financial crisis management frameworks (including bank resolution) and insolvency principles.
