COVID-19: Understanding and acting on the social acceptability of public health measures

Research inspired by experimental economics provides a better understanding of the role that awareness and improved knowledge of the real risks associated with COVID-19 can play in people's intentions and their reactions following the implementation - or removal - of various measures. Roxane Borgès Da Silva, professor at the Université de Montréal and CIRANO Fellow, presents in a short text the results of two experimental studies conducted in the specific context of the schools reopening in September 2020.
