Michel Magnan and Nathalie De Marcellis-Warin, panelists at the «Rendez-vous» of the Autorité des marchés financiers

The «Rendez-vous» of the Autorité des marchés financiers was held on November 22.

Michel Magnan, Distinguished Research Professor, Stephen A. Jarislowsky Chair in Corporate GovernanceJarislowsky, John Molson School of Business, Concordia University and Researcher and Fellow, CIRANO and Nathalie De Marcellis-Warin, Professor at Polytechnique Montréal,  Principal Researcher of the Innovation and Digital Transformation theme, Responsible of the CIRANO pole on the Socio-Economic Impacts of Digital Intelligence and CIRANO CEO participated as panelists at the event.

Michel Magnan addressed the theme of technological innovation in Quebec in the financial products and services sector.

Nathalie De Marcellis-Warin tooke part in a workshop on behavioral finance: Quebec consumers' habits are evolving

The issues of the supply of technology solutions used by consumers and the importance of a balance in regulation (consumer protection and evolution) were discussed.

During the opening speech of the «AMF Rendez-Vous», the CEO, Mr.Louis Morisset, presented the first results of the ongoing CIRANO study on the adoption of cryptoassets in Quebec.
