Simon Bourdeau

A CIRANO Researcher and Fellow since 2012, Simon Bourdeau is Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Technology at the École des sciences de la gestion of the Université du Québec à Montréal. He is also a member/researcher in various research groups and centres, including CEFRIO, GReSI (HEC Montréal) and CeRTAE (Université Laval). He teaches various courses in information technology and project management at the École des sciences de la gestion of the Université du Québec à Montréal in addition to sitting on various pedagogical and administrative committees.

Holding a Ph.D. in Information Systems Administration from HEC Montréal, his research interests focus on IT project management, diversity in project teams, development and implementation of information systems, operational risk (project management and outsourcing) and strategic planning of information technologies. He is also a facilitator of the Lego Serious Play approach, which he uses for teaching and research.
