On November 2 and 3, 2017, at the Montréal Palais des congrès, the Université de Montréal and the Fonds de recherche du Québec will host a Forum on the Socially Responsible Development of Artificial Intelligence.
Marie-Josée Hébert, Vice-Rector of Research, Discovery, Creation and Innovation from the Université de Montréal is chairing the event.
Internationally reputed experts, such as Yochaï Benkler from Harvard Law School, Yoshua Bengio from Université de Montréal’s MILA and Hugo Larochelle from Google Brain, have confirmed their presence and will give a large conference.
During this Forum Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin (President and CEO of CIRANO) will moderate a panel on Changes in the labor market and the education system with the participation of a CIRANO Fellow, Benoit Dostie (HEC Montréal).
Thierry Warin (HEC Montréal and Fellow CIRANO) and William Sanger (Polytechnique Montréal et Directeur de projet CIRANO) will present a analysis of unstructured data from Twitter on artificial intelligence. Tweets published on Twitter during the Forum will also be collected and analyzed on November 2nd and 3rd.
