In this webinar, Thomas Estinès, co-director of the Responsible Investment Group (RIG), presented shareholder proposals, a responsible investment strategy that RIG has been practicing for many years. Michel Magnan, CIRANO Fellow, professor at Concordia University and member of the Jarislowsky Chair on Corporate Governance, talked about the extra-financial risks (ESG) that allow to measure the sustainability of investment products offered to individual investors. At the beginning of the webinar, Paul Bourget, director of the Bourstad project at CIRANO, described the Responsible Investing component of the Bourstad competition.
