CIRANO enjoys the support of a team with sound experience in both business and university research.

Our Managing Director and CFO, Jérôme Blanc, obtained his Masters degree in mathematics and a DEA in computer science from l'Université d'Aix-Marseille II and his MBA from l'Université du Québec à Montréal. Mr. Blanc has worked for l'Université du Québec à Montréal and Quebecor before joining CIRANO in September 2000.

System Administrator, Ghislain Camirand has completed a specialized program in IT at the Multi-hexa College, in Montreal. He worked previously at Nortel, Look and Compusmart before becoming an IT technician at the CIRANO in January 2001.

Administrative and secretarial services for CIRANO are provided by Sylvie Barrette-Méthot, Administrative assistant, who has a number of years' experience in secretarial work and administration in the private sector, particularly with Le Permanent; by Nathalie Bannier, Administrative assistant, who has held several secretarial positions in the private sector in France; and by Jocelyne Chouinard, Administrative assistant, that also has numerous years of experience in secreterial work in the private sector, and has worked for Nortel before joining CIRANO; and by Louise Bacchi, secretary/receptionist, who has many years of experience in the private sector and who has worked for RSM Richter Chamberland before joining CIRANO.
