François Vaillancourt, CIRANO Fellow and Emeritus Professor in the Department of Economics of the Université de Montréal, was keynote speaker at a workshop organized by the World Bank in Tirana (Albania) on June 28th.

This workshop focused on strengthening local governments. Mr. Vaillancourt presented on intergovernmental transfers and performance-related grants (international experience and the case of Albania).
