Seminar: Creation of a Representative Group of Quebec’s Population with Enriched Data - A Group Project on the Path of Cares of the SRAP Support Unit

CIRANO

Wednesday 11 Apr 2018
From 12PM To 2PM

Mike Benigeri, Consultant for the SRAP Support Unit, presented the group project on the path of cares of the SRAP Support Unit.

This project allowed the setup of a retrospective group evolving between 1996 and 2016, including some Quebec residents who had participated in different cycles of the Investigation on Health in Canadian communities (ESCC), and that gave their permission for their answers to be used and coupled with data of other sources.

The objectives of this project are 1) to ease the access of Quebec’s researchers to enriched medical-administrative data, for a representative sample of the population of Quebec; and 2) to develop new methods for the analysis of the paths of care for persons that show proper conditions for ambulatory cares.
