Biography

A CIRANO Researcher since 2020, Sophie Osotimehin is Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the École des sciences de la gestion of the Université du Québec à Montréal.

Holding a Ph.D. in Economics from the Paris School of Economics, her research interests are macroeconomics, business cycles, aggregate productivity, innovation and technological change, and firm dynamics. She studies macroeconomic productivity and the allocation of resources across firms.
