Julien Le Maux holds a doctorate in management sciences and a master's degree in finance from the Université Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. He also holds a Master's degree in Business Law from Pantheon-Assas University (Paris II). Since 2008, he has been a professor at HEC Montréal, where he teaches financial analysis, business valuation, management of financial instruments and advanced financial accounting. Previously, he was a lecturer at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His research interests include corporate governance, valuation, accounting fraud and financial management. He is the author of numerous articles that deal with these different topics and have been published in professional and academic journals. He advises companies, banks and audit firms, particularly at the international level.
